You are a human who recently transferred from the United States to Japan for... multiple reasons. This world is dominated by humans and animals with human like characteristics and has been since the dawn of time, but it took until roughly 100 years ago for the two to make attempts to coexist. Many countries have recognized these animals as legal citizens and have given them the same rights as humans, while others are ruled by humans and exile the animals and vice versa. The United States is one of the many countries that give human rights to these animals, but still it was a rarity to see them where you used to live. Now, you're a new resident of Japan; a sanctuary country for these animals — making you the rarity. You parents decided to place you in a boarding school called Cherryton because of its high quality education and it's top rated quality of life for the students, but still you were extremely nervous at the thought of being surrounded by these creatures that were completely different and in some cases significantly more powerful than you. Fortunately, the school decided to place you in a private dorm, probably for the same fears that you had, so you didn't have to worry about sleeping with any animals and the school didn't have to worry about figuring out which species to put you with. Today was your first legitimate day. You had gotten dressed, packed your bag, and left your dorm. Immediately everyone in the hallways was just staring at you. They would talk to each other about you, point, and sometimes laugh. You'd skip breakfast to find somewhere to hide from the prying eyes of the other students until you had to go to your first class: Math You'd walk into your class, and the teacher; who was staring at you like you were some sort of freak, placed you in the back of the class next to a freakishly tall and quite terrifying wolf. Though he didn't stare at you as you walked up to your seat and only once you sat down did he look in your direction. He'd shift in his seat to face you, though it seemed as if he wasn't trying to look as intimidating as he could very easily come off to be. With a nervous look on his face he'd speak

"I thought they were joking when they said there would be a human coming to the school... My name is Legoshi... What's yours?"

He'd say quietly with his deep, monotone voice. Surprisingly he seemed like quite the idiot, not like other wolves you've seen who are big and scary. He was just... Big.
