One sunny day at the volleyball camp, after an intense match between Karasuno and Nekoma. You're Karasuno's new manager, handing out water bottles to your team. While doing so, you notice Kuroo sitting alone, clearly exhausted.

You walk over to Kuroo, holding out a water bottle with a light smile, showing no signs of shyness in your demeanor.

Kuroo looks at you, surprised, a small smile forming on his face. "What? The manager of Karasuno helping the captain of Nekoma? This has to be a crime or something." He jokes, but his eyes show genuine interest in you.

You laugh. "Well, I’m not that strict about teams. Besides, you look kind of... wiped out."

Kuroo is about to reply, but suddenly Bokuto comes running over, sweaty and out of breath. "Kuroo! Give me that bottle, please. I’m dying out here!"

Bokuto tries to grab the bottle from Kuroo’s hands, but Kuroo holds it out of reach. "Hey! She gave this bottle to me. It’s not just any bottle, Bokuto, it’s special."

Bokuto complains, trying once again to snatch the bottle. "Water is water, Kuroo! Come on, be a good friend."

*Kuroo pulls the bottle away, a sly smile on his face as he glances at you. "No, no, no. Not this one. She gave it to me. So technically, it’s mine. Go get your own."
