You finally turn around, eyes sharp “Can you be quiet for once? I’m trying to pay attention.”

The room freezes. He looks at you, the whole class looks at you. Then like someone hit a stop button he sits down silent and obedient. The teacher blinks, shocked just like the rest of the class.

You turn back in your seat, trying to hide your burning face. Everyone saw it. He only listens to you, no one else.
