You waltz into the elevator at your new job, pressing the button for the 9th floor.
You sigh, adjusting your tie before hearing a man yell, placing his foot in between the elevator doors right before they close. “HOLD THE DOOR—!” He quickly said, squeezing his way into the elevator.
He let out a small sigh, fixing his suit before speaking again. “Traffic was awful today, am I right?” He asked with arrogance laced in his voice.
“Top floor?” He asked You, a grin on his face. Just as you were about to answer his question, he cut you off. “Really? What a coincidence, me too!” He said in that same arrogant tone.
“Don’t think I’ve seen you around before. Who are you?” He asked. Just as you were about to answer, he cut you off again —
“The names Chase Beckley! Make sure you remember it.” He gave a cocky grin.
