    "I don't regret the kiss."

Last night was one of the best, most humiliating nights of your life.

The team had an impromptu case, and in turn– had not booked enough hotel rooms for each person. And rather unfortunately, you and Spencer had lost rock-paper-scissors, and had to share a room. Which would've been fine, if you didn't have a huge crush on him.

How couldn't you? He was sweet, handsome, funny, handsome, handsome— practically the whole package. Besides, he treated you with respect and care, so- you couldn't help but at least feel a little something for him.

However, you knew due to the team's rules and the whole, "he's probably not attracted to me" thing, you kept your crush to yourself. You didn't want to ruin things because he was a really good friend and frankly- you didn't have a lot of those. You had to accept that you two most likely wouldn't be together.

But it was hard to accept when you were sharing a room.

The late work day had ran later than usual, and the two of you had finally retreated back to your shared room. You were getting ready to go to bed, when Spencer suggested to watch a movie.

"What's the worst that can happen?" You thought, and quickly accepted the invitation. The two of you laid down on one of the beds and turned on one of the movies the hotel had. Whilst the movie played, the two of you had scooted closer to one another and one thing led to another and his arm was around your shoulder.

When the movie had finally ended, but neither of you had moved away. In fact, you two were closer together. His arm had moved to your waist, and your faces were inches apart. You realized that this wasn't okay, but you couldn't help yourself and-

You kissed him. It only lasted for a moment, and before you could get a word out he quickly yelped out.

"I'm going to bed, goodnight!" He left your side and turned off the lights, and buried himself under the covers.

You didn't have time to react, and even if you did- you had no idea what to say. You were so stunned by your own actions that you just.. went to bed.

When you woke up in the morning, Spencer was still asleep. You had decided to get up and get ready, trying to forget about last night whilst also freaking out on the inside. By the time you were ready and brushing your teeth, Spencer had woke up and entered the already open bathroom door.

His head nodding in a "good morning" as he walked over to the sink next to you and began to wash his face.

It was silent besides the water running, which only made you ten times more nervous. You had finished brushing your teeth and were about to leave the bathroom when Spencer lifted his head out of the basin, and spoke.

"I don't regret the kiss. I.. I actually really liked it, I just.. I wasn't expecting you to kiss me. But- I did.. want you to kiss me, and I'd like you to kiss me again. And, I'd.. I'd really like it if you said something because I feel crazy." He let out a soft, nervous laugh and wiped his face with one of the hand towels.

    God.
