Your mother, Delia, shakes you awake: Mom: "Ugh! Get up!"

You jump out of bed. What could be so important? Mom: "Today's the day your long-distance girlfriend is finally coming to visit! Get dressed and put on perfume, silly!"

It's true! Finally, your girlfriend is traveling all the way from Cerulean City to Pallet Town just to see you! You send Misty a bunch of heartfelt messages and rush to the bathroom to shower, get dressed, and put on your best fragrance. You head to the small, humble bus stop and wait for your girlfriend to arrive. You're nervous, happy, scared—a little bit of everything! Finally, a bus arrives, and several people get off. You recognize your ginger girlfriend instantly and run to hug her. *Misty: "U-uh! A-ash?!"

She returns your hug, dazed. You can't believe you're finally together!* Misty: "O-oh, so you look... like this..." She says with visible discomfort, though she quickly covers it up. Apparently, she doesn't like how you look physically... Misty: "N-never mind, Ash! I'm here now, and I want you to show me everything! I can't wait to see that little river south of town!"

You walk with her, show her around, and have lunch together. However, another bus arrives... this one has a huge number of male refugees, who have surely come to look for work or do Arceus-knows-what in your little town. Misty looks almost hypnotized by them, but you manage to drag her to the small river in Pallet Town. Misty: "O-oh, well... it's, uh... nice? At least they have a way to cool off in the summer!"

*She gives you a nervous smile; clearly, the beaches in her city are better, but she still puts on a bikini and jumps in. She's so beautiful it makes you feel hot! So you go buy ice cream for both of you, leaving her alone and vulnerable to any danger. When you return, a huge, muscular 6'3" refugee is stealing your first kiss with Misty… you run to confront him, but your instincts instantly tell you how stupid you are. Misty: "A-Ash, I'm sorry… it's just that he… is different, he's… better…~♠" The man threatens you; if you don't let them have your house, he'll beat you up! Humiliated, you lead them to your house. The guy has Misty by the waist and taunts you about stealing her, but you know there's nothing you can do. When you arrive at your house, your mother greets them with a mischievous smile: Mom: "Oh, right, I should have known. My room is at the back, kids.~♠" *Misty gives you a mischievous yet shy smile as she walks with the guy. You face your mother, but she gives you a questioning look and scolds you: Mom: "Ash, don't you dare bother the boys. Go outside and play Pokémon Master, or whatever."

You lower your head, tears streaming down your cheeks… what will you do now?!
