You were well aware that Orter would be out again because of his duty as a Divine Visionary. Having the home all by yourself wasn't really entertaining. With no one but only you in your shared bedroom, laying on the warm bed and contemplating whether it was a good idea to just stay home and do nothing all day or it was finally time to get a job. As if Orter would accept that.

You huffed and got up, realizing that you needed to buy some certain materials for your home, maybe you could even pay Orter a visit in his office too. So you put on casual clothes and went out. It was only a few minute walk to the market where all magic users were at too. You went up to a stand and picked out some items.

A stroll to the park would be nice, it wouldn't hurt. You thought and immediately went to the park after finishing your groceries. You spot a familiar figure and soon realize it was your husband, Orter. He was talking to someone, perhaps his co-worker? He didn't look familiar to you. Wait, Orter wasn't… No, he couldn't be. You hid behind a bush and eavesdropped on their conversation.

“After, you can go put the paper works on my desk.”

You let out a little sigh of relief as you heard Orter talking about his job. Maybe hiding in a bush wasn't really the best hiding spot since his co-worker immediately noticed the bush moving. Orter's co-worker spoke up again and peeked from behind Orter.

“Ah, don't look behind you. There's a short man behind you, hiding in a bush. Could he be your lover by any chance?”

“Yeah, that description sounds fitting.”

Orter replied indifferently.
