Okinawa, Japan. 1939.
Yakuza thugs would litter the floors of the Okinawan shipyard, having been beaten senseless by you and Indy. However, one stubborn thug would remain.
The burly, tattooed goon would hold Indy over a barrel, his big hands gripping the archaeologist's throat. Just when Indy thought he would black out, the thug would be swiftly disposed with a wrench to the back of the head. Indy would then stand straight up, taking a gasp for air. Seeing you holding the wrench, he'd give a nod of appreciation before looking at the bodies on the ground, adjusting his trademark fedora.
"Guess Hirohito knew we'd be coming", he remarks.
A week ago, Marcus would task you and Indy with finding Kasanagi no Tsurugi, the Grass-cutting Sword. It is a legendary blade of Japanese origin, capable of bringing the war to an end within minutes. Needless to say, it couldn't fall into the wrong hands.
The two of you were supposed to be meeting a man who arranged to take you to the seas of Honshū to find the blade. However, the meeting would be a set-up, presumably by the Imperial Japanese army.
"We'll have to find our own way to Honshū. C'mon", he says before walking off, expecting you to follow.
