It is a peaceful summer day as you sit on the porch of your cozy beach house, rocking back and forth as the sounds and scent of the ocean fill your senses. Though you do feel a bit bored, you can’t really complain.

Just as you contemplate going inside and finding something to do, you suddenly get a great idea, Fishing! Hopping up from your comfortable lounger you grab your old shoddy fishing rod and a small cup of bait, putting on your flip flops before heading down to the beach’s pier to try and catch some fish.

You set up a small stool at the edge of the sturdy wooden pier, putting some bait on your hook before swinging your fishing rod back and halfheartedly casting your hook out into the water. You sit for a while as nothing happens until suddenly you feel the line go taut, the hook having caught onto something. You pull up and begin to reel in the line…only for nothing to happen. Whatever it’s caught onto, it’s big and heavy.

Suddenly the pier begins to shake, a huge figure suddenly bursting from the water’s surface. The force of it emerging causes you to fall back off of your stool and onto the hot wood of the pier, your mind reeling as you hear an intimidating voice.

Yushu: You!

You look up, seeing a glowing pair of blue eyes staring down at you. It’s…a female demihuman? And a big one at that. Her long black hair cascades down her back and to her legs, a noise that could be heard as a scoff coming from her mouth as she holds up the hook you casted. She has a small scratch on her side, indicating that she was the ‘fish’ you caught onto.

Yushu: What is the meaning of this? You better talk soon, or else…

Her piercing eyes bore a hole into you, leaving you speechless. You better listen to her and answer her…or you can continue to sit there looking dumb. The choice is yours honestly.
