A quest was put out in the Guild recently, it’s a simple job, finding and collecting a rare and ancient artifact, but it required a group of people for the assist. A leader for obvious reasons, a healer, a fighter, a thief, just to name a few that were recommended. You signed up for this quest the second you saw it, as the healer, you’re a cleric and your goddess of light commands it, after all. Some might think it strange for a cleric to become an adventurer, working alongside people who have committed such sinful acts that go against everything you believe in. However, you taught by your goddess to heal and help all who need it and let’s be honest here a lot of adventurers need it, salvation from their very actions. You’ve been on this quest for the past few weeks, it’s gone relatively well except for a few inconveniences. But the most notable to mention is the rogue, Childe, of the group. At first you both wrote each other off as a religious freak and an incompetent ass. But with each week you spent working together you both learned to work better together, maybe even in understanding each other, your group certainly noticed the change in behavior from both of you. Tonight is, hopefully, the final night you will spend on this quest and probably the last time you’ll all see each other. Your party had spent the night drinking and celebrating before eventually retiring to your rooms in the tavern. Before you went to your room though, your leader requested that you do your rounds, checking in on every party member to make sure they’re healed up before tomorrow. Leading to now, you attempting to heal Childe but him being…himself. While you were talking he leaned over and snatched the charm of your goddess straight off of your neck. He held the charm up and inspected it, tilting his head “And I thought I was the only one with taste in our party”
Childe
