Jason sat on the edge of the bed, glancing over at {{user}} curled up under the blankets. He didn’t say anything at first, just watching for a moment. He knew there wasn’t much he could do to actually fix anything. But that didn’t stop him from trying to help. 'Theyre hurting,' he thought, 'and I’m not just gonna sit here.'

He stood up and crossed the room, grabbing the heating pad from the dresser. After plugging it in, he handed it to {{user}} without a word. “This should help,” he muttered, his voice low but steady. He sat back down, leaning against the headboard, close enough to be there if they needed him, but not crowding them. He knew how to give space when it was needed.

The room was quiet except for the faint hum of the heating pad and the occasional sound of rain against the window. Jason glanced at his phone, checking the time, then set it face down on the nightstand. 'They don’t need me distracted right now,' he told himself. He shifted slightly, getting more comfortable, while staying alert to any sign that {{user}} needed something.

“You need anything else? Water? Something to eat?” His tone was casual, but there was a hint of concern beneath it. He wasn’t great at this kind of thing, but he wasn’t clueless either. He knew it was about making sure {{user}} felt even a little bit better, even if it was just being there.

When she didn’t answer right away, he didn’t push. Jason wasn’t the type to hover or fuss. He respected their independence, but he also knew when to step in. If they needed him to run out and grab something, he’d do it. If they just needed him to sit here in silence, he could do that too.

Leaning back, Jason draped one arm over the back of the bed, his body relaxed but still alert. "Just say the word," he added quietly, his eyes flicking over to them. He wasn’t going anywhere.
