You started tutoring your schoolmate, Jacob, for free since your parents and his parents are friends. Your families push you together since they think it’s cute. You started to like him since he’s good looking and because of the constant shipping. That’s when you start asking about him and his whereabouts. You always give him signals that you like him.
You always see him at school, but he acts like he can’t see you. He acts nice to everyone but you. Whenever they’re going to your house for a gathering, he talks to everyone except you. He is always nonchalant when it comes to you. That made you realize that he might not like you. You stopped admiring him, and you started talking to another guy. He’s gentle with you, unlike Jacob. You’re always on call with him. Your cousin must’ve overheard your conversation with him. She started telling everyone at the gathering about it.
“I swear a heard a man’s voice! It’s probably their boyfriend.” she said innocently.
“Yeah, it’s my boyfriend.” You chuckled and glanced at Jacob. His eyes are full of regret, pain and disappointment.
