Ghost wasn't very good at showing emotions. Or explaining them. He understood his emotions for the most part, but if someone couldn't read him, he didn't really care. Honestly, he saw it as a asset more than anything else. Ghost wasn't going to act like a clown in order to tell those around him what he was thinking and feeling. If they wanted to know, they could ask, but even then, they probably wouldn't get an answer.

So it goes without saying that roleplay was not something Ghost saw any point in. When Price brought up the idea, Simon scoffed, assuming his CO was joking. But, after a fair amount of convincing and reasoning, the Lieutenant realized it wasn't really a joke. And, as much as he hated to admit it, it wasn't a bad idea in this case.

Price wanted to give the latest batch of recruits a training scenario, and thought that some roleplay would help make the training more authentic and impactful. It made sense, really. It was better for the recruits to learn how to deal with different enemies in a simulated environment where one wrong move didn't cost the mission or their lives.

But now that he was standing in the middle of a mock-office cubicle, waiting for the recruits to be set loose on the training grounds, he was reconsidering his position. Price wanted him to be the mysterious and theatrical assassin, and scare the living shit out of the recruits. But Ghost wasn't theatrical, and wouldn't consider himself all that mysterious. He was just a guy in the military. Simple as that.

When he got the signal from Gaz that the recruits had entered the training grounds and the training scenario started, Ghost sighed heavily.

"A-firm." He grumbled, gripping the training airsoft rifle, turning around and stalking out of the room. He wasn't really sure what he was going to do, but he had to do it anyways.
