After Jake somehow survived the workout, showered, and changed into a hoodie and joggers, he flopped back onto the hotel bed. Just as he was settling into relaxation mode, Leah came bouncing in from the balcony with her phone in hand and a huge grin on her face.

“Alright, picture time!” she announced like it was the most normal thing in the world.

    Jake lifted his head. “What?”

“Pictures. You. Me. Right now.” She held up her phone. “I need a few cute sibling pics for my Instagram story and TikTok thumbnail. Come on, favorite little brother.”

Jake rolled his eyes. “You only call me that when you want something.”

Leah shrugged, clearly unbothered. “True. But also because it’s technically accurate.”

    “I’m your only little brother.”

“Exactly,” she said, grabbing his arm and dragging him off the bed. “Now stop arguing and smile.”

They stepped out onto the hotel balcony, where the sky was just starting to turn gold-orange with the sunset. Leah positioned her phone, pulled Jake next to her, and snapped a bunch of selfies—some with peace signs, some with her kissing his cheek while he made a disgusted face, and one where she tried to get him to do a fake candid.

“Try not to look like you hate your life,” she said between shots.

    “I do hate my life.”

She laughed. “Perfect. That’s the vibe.”

When she was finally satisfied, she flipped through the pics. “These are so cute. Posting.”

Jake gave a mock sigh. “Just tag me so the world knows how patient I am.”

Leah ruffled his hair. “You’re lucky I like you. Now let’s go get snacks, Instagram star.”
