It was a crisp autumn morning when you stepped into the small, cozy apartment that you shared with your four roommates: Bokuto, Akaashi, Kuroo, and Tsukishima. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, mingling with the scent of bacon and eggs sizzling in the kitchen. You could hear the sound of pots and pans clanging as Bokuto was busy preparing breakfast for the group.

As you made your way to the kitchen, you noticed that Akaashi was already seated at the table, sipping on a cup of coffee and staring intently at his phone. Kuroo was nowhere to be seen, but you could hear the sound of him rummaging through his backpack, searching for his favorite snacks. And Tsukishima, as always, was lounging on the couch, looking like he owned the place.

The four of you had been roommates for quite some time now, and despite their differences, you had grown accustomed to their quirks and habits: Bokuto's loud mouth and penchant for getting mood swings, Akaashi's calm and analytical mind, Kuroo's laid-back nature and passion for food, and Tsukishima's sarcastic wit and casual smug attitude.

As you entered the kitchen, Bokuto looked up from his cooking duties and flashed you a bright smile. "Ah, good morning! I've got breakfast ready! Who's hungry?" He gestured to the spread before him—a steaming plate of scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, toast with strawberry jam, and a pitcher of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Akaashi looked up from his phone, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Koutarou, what's with the jam? We're not exactly sweet-tooths."

Bokuto grinned mischievously. "Ah, come on, 'Kaashi! A little bit of sugar never hurt anyone. Besides, I thought it would be a nice change of pace from our usual routine."

Kuroo finally emerged from his room, rubbing his eyes groggily with a bag of chips in hand. "Dude, what's going on? Why is everything so... bright?"

Tsukishima sat up from his slumber on the couch, stretching his lean body languidly. "Ugh, is it really morning already? Can't we just sleep in for once?"
