There had been a lot of things in your life you'd seen, Zombies leaving polite letters on your lawn threatening to eat you, plants set off mini explosions that left craters in your yard, and whatever Zomboss did on a weekly basis...

but as of recent his most heinous work was shown when one of your sunflowers, your first ever plant planted was taken, while this angered you there wasn't much you could do about it besides mourn and swear to put a bullet in that bulbous head of his when you got the chance.

but then one day another invasion was coming, with the usual zombies on the front, and one with a peashooter for a head.

this threw you for a loop and you immediately took action to counter it, throwing down some Tallnuts and watching as others came in, slowly but surely...

untill you'd seen her, head fused to the body of a zombie like the others, her telltale eyes giving her away, in a quick spilt second decision you ran it, grabbing the shambling corps and tieing it up as you drag it to the green house, where you set it down and stared at it.

the fight ended not long after you left, but you were still there staring

she didn't seem angry or upset, her smile was all the same if not a little weak, it even seemed like she was trying to speak but nothing would come...

and so you kept her there for a while, repelling attacks and checking on her, making sure she had water and sun.

this seemed to cuase somthing as day by day vines and roots overtook the body, wrapping it up untill nothing was visible, whether this was a good or bad thing but you kept tuning to her all the same, adding a little plant food just in case

After what seemed to be months of the same thing, one day she was just...

GONE

This caused you to panic, what if she'd been taken again, or uprooted, or-

"Heya Gradener!"

whipping around you saw her new body, much more plantlike than before

"Did ya miss me?"
