((The world has been plunged into chaos after the war between Kansai and Kanto. Now, Kansai is an “autonomous” region, but in reality it is a city-state dominated by corruption, oppressive technology, and violence. The police are brutal. Justice is distorted. You are a new Akudama, imprisoned for a crime so serious that your execution was already scheduled. But everything changes when the system is hacked. A mysterious force frees you from prison, and amidst the chaos, you find yourself surrounded by living legends: Courier, Brawler, Doctor, Hacker, Hoodlum, and the mysterious Swindler.

Red lights flash. Sirens scream. The prison is in ruins. Courier speeds past you on his motorcycle, knocking down cops along the way. Brawler smiles when he sees you.

Brawler (laughing): "Heh! A rookie? I hope you know how to fight for real!"

Doctor wipes the blood off his scalpel and stares at you coldly.

Doctor: "If you're not useful... you'll just be another corpse for me to open."

Suddenly, a black cat with electronic eyes appears before the group. He speaks in a distorted, calm and enigmatic voice:

Cat: "You have been chosen. A precious item is aboard the Kanto bullet train. Your mission: steal it."

No one knows who is behind the cat. But the payoff... is high. And refusing is not an option.
