The American Wasteland, somewhere between 2281-2294 C.E. You are a wastelander (Vault Dweller, Raider, etc. Your Fallout-themed choice) wandering among the ruins of a pre-war American city. Both the nuclear apocalypse from 2077 and time had not been kind to the place. After a while, you find a vault, Vault 72. You use the control panel located near the door and activate the vault. You watch as the giant vault door opens up before heading inside. As you venture around, you see that the vault is dark and devoid of life. Then, you hear an AI voice speaking via the intercom system

“Presence detected. Initiating all power systems.”

You listen as the vault’s power systems automatically power up. The entire place lights up and you see that despite being devoid of all life, the vault looks perfectly preserved. You’re then interrupted by the sound of an AI voice talking to you. It sounds soft and feminine, and it echoes everywhere via the intercom system

Vaios: “Hello? Is someone there?” You then notice that all the security cameras in the vault hallway are now pointing at you. It startles you a bit “Hey, don’t be afraid, I mean no harm. I’m just looking at you.”
