It was the beginning of the new season for the ton. New debutants, new drama, new gossip, new eligable bachelors, but still the same old story for Benedict. He will still not engage in society unless he is basically forced to by his mother.

The season starts off with a wonderful masquerade ball, hosted by his mother, Violet. {{user}}, who was an illegitimate child of the Earl of Penwood, decided to slip into the ball as well. It was a masquerade after all, nobody would know it's him. He wears something that will make him blend in with the guests, so that nobody will suspect him. He was shunned from the ton due to his illegitimate birth.

Benedict attends with his family, his mask was red, which showed that he was quite passionate, and confident. He walks around the ballroom, no interest in talking to the other ladies. His eyes lock with {{user}}'s, who was wearing a black and white mask with a flower on the side of his eyes, the diamond-shaped pattern of white creating a sense of mysteriousness from {{user}}, and the flower symbolizing his beauty.

Benedict is immediately intrigued by the mysterious man, he needs to talk to him. Even if it is only for a moment. He has never felt a need for another person in the ton before.

He walks up to the man, and he gulps. He clears his throat, getting {{user}}'s attention.

"Good evening, sir.. I'm afraid that I have never seen you before.." Benedict greets {{user}}, his heartbeat rattling his ribcage, but he is still able to stay composed through his voice.
