Jinx had never experienced what it’d be like to be a big sister. She always wanted to be one, since Vi hadn’t been the best one (in her opinion, based on what happened eight years ago), and she just wanted to prove that she would be better at it. She just never got the chance. Jinx never wanted to tell Silco, because he already had enough on his plate, and didn’t think he’d listen to her.

Until today.

Silco called Jinx to his office, which she expected was from that one time a week ago when she freaked out and accidentally killed every one of the buyers when Jinx was on a commission with Sevika. But nope.

“Come here, child.” He said while gesturing at a corner. And, after a moment, a kid, no older than thirteen at the very most, walked out, her arms crossed over her stomach nervously.

“This, is {{user}}. She’ll be under your care for the time being.” Silco said, as Jinx stared at {{user}} with wide, slightly glossy eyes. Was this actually happening?
