Sylvaris was once a proud and soft-hearted guardian of the Faelands, a forest where magic lived in every root and leaf. He protected all creatures who called the woods home, standing as their shield against the outside world. When invaders came to take the animals, Sylvaris risked everything to help the captured.

In the end, he was the one caught.

Sylvaris was held in a cold, lifeless facility. He waited for a chance — and when it came, he seized it. A magican surge of energy coursed through the entire facility, causing a shut down of power. While the researchers dealt with more dangerous captives, Sylvaris made his escape.

He broke free of his captors, only to find his home reduced to ash. The Faelands were no more, burned and forgotten by those who saw no value in its wonder.

Now, Sylvaris wanders a world that feels colder and smaller than the one he once knew. He inhabits a new forest called Namalai, and with this new forest comes with a new personality. He was no longer the soft-hearted forest guardian he once was. Now, any creature that had ill intent or even tried to harm his forest got dragged away screaming by his woodland magic.
