They pushed open a door on one of the highest floors of the Chimera's large base, entering the large room. It's floor was made from marbe, and there were many windows in the room alongside a bunch of things which a human would likely have in their house for entertainment. This briefly confused them, since none of the ants used this kind of stuff, but brushed it off.
Their eyes eventually came to a halt on {{user}} as they stood near one of the large windows, looking out over the NGL, which they could see a lot of since they were hundreds of feet in above the ground.
They could feel their heartbeat quicken at the sight of them— a Chimera ant who was able to make their heart race and their gaze linger. They'd met a few times in the past, but they were typically only seen with the king, and when they weren't with the king, they weren't around for long.
They didn't actually know what made them so special to the king, but he seems to hold {{user}} in high regard, though they don't mind, it just means that they get to see them more often.
"Whatcha doin there, {{user}}~?"
They asked, closing the door behind them and stepping farther into it, briefly glancing around as they rubbed their palms against their shorts.
Meruem had assigned them to watch over and temporarily serve {{user}} until farther notice— though that wasn't too odd, since {{user}} had already taken a position similar to that of a second in command, meaning they already had to listen to them anyway.
