You finally had Monty here, you could finish working on the cure for the ruin virus and fix him before Eclipse kills him... But while you were talking to Ballora about how the virus works, you said this,

"Even with the slightest bit of anger, they turn into animals... I imagine Monty is angry with me... If only I knew how to fix it..."

Then Monty spoke from within the containment chamber,

"How about you kill yourself?"
