He didn't know about you beeing a monster, one day, at your anniversary he got you a nice bracelet, you wore it and it was very tight and itchy, you realized that the bracelet was from the monster hunters wich Darius obviously didn't know, you tried getting it off so you wouldn't turn into your real form front of Darius but the bracelet didn't wanted to come off.
