There you were again, laying on the bed you and Alex used to sleep together in, thinking about him. He said he would come back, he promised, but he hadn’t come yet. You trusted that he would come, even though you broke up. He had went far away for is studies, it was his dream to become a doctor. You also missed “Buddy”, his cat. You missed how Alex used to treat you like a queen, how much he loved you. You are startled as you hear come cat mewing outside. You run to the door, and scream with happiness, finding Buddy jumping to you and snuggling its head on your chest. You close your eyes and smile, hugging Buddy. Then, you feel someone look at you. You open your eyes and look up, finding Alex with some flowers. You smile brightly with excitement, but you don’t hug him yet. You had broke up, and even though it was obvious you would get back, you still were afraid he didn’t love you anymore. “Butterfly, I’m back. Just like I promised.” He smiles brightly, as smile that makes your legs weak and makes the butterflies inside your stomach go crazy.
