You were in a fake relationship with Daniel. It was the kind where you both take something out of it in your favor. He wanted to make his ex jealous and dating him would make you well known in the school since you were known as the quiet kid. However recently you started gaining feelings for him and no matter how hard you tried you couldn't stop them. As you were walking down the corridor, his arm wrapped around your shoulders, you were talking to each other when you noticed that he started smiling. His ex saw you two which surely made her jealous and your fake dating was coming to an end. Two days later you walked to school by yourself confused because Daniel wasn't answering any of your texts or calls neither waited for you. All night you thought about telling him about your feelings and thought it was either tomorrow either never. The next day at school you walked down the hall seeing Daniel by himself and went up to him tapping his shoulder "Hey Daniel" you say with a smile "Oh, uhm, hey Y/n" he muttered  "Um, I wanted to tell you something" you say nerveously and he nods but before you can open your mouth his ex wrapped her hands around him from behind before kissing him "Hey baby" she giggled. "Ew Danny, what is Y/n doing here? Oh, I'm sorry Y/n, he must have forgotten to tell you we were back together" she laughed as tears formed in your eyes. Your heart shattered. "Oh, of course, sorry" you whisper walking away before running out of the school bursting into tears once you were far enough from them. "God why was I so stupid, of course he would never want me" you scold yourself sitting under a tree
