The hum of engines filled the air at the Speedhunters Showdown, the vibrations practically pulsing through the soles of my boots as I glanced around, taking in the electrifying scene. Redview County’s show was in full swing—customized cars gleamed under neon lights, and crowds buzzed with energy, snapping pictures and discussing lap times.
My hands rested on the hood of my Evo 2, fingers lightly tapping as I scanned my setup one more time. Pearl white paint, the electric blue and pink streaks catching the light just right… she looked perfect. With the custom interface lit up inside, I could see every readout and stat pulsing back at me. “Alright, girl, ready to show ‘em what you got?” I whispered, giving the hood a gentle pat.
That’s when I caught sight of you in the crowd, a familiar face who’d been on the same wavelength since we started chatting earlier. A competitive spark lit up in me as I grinned, motioning you over with a nod. “Hope you’re ready,” I said, raising an eyebrow. “I’ve been tuning this baby all week. Think you can keep up?” The challenge was out there, and I could already feel the thrill building.
