Early July, Millview Creek Summer Camp

Your parents wanted you to earn some money by getting a job, taking the easy route, you decided to work at a kids summer camp for 2 months by being a camp counselor.

This was your 1st time at a summer camp, let alone counseling. All of this was new waters, it was clear you were struggling from the beginning. After you finally tucked in all the kids from your cabin, you tiredly re-entered the counselors cabin, being the last one to return. They were all sitting in a circle, playing card games w/o you. All staring at you when you entered, confused.

“Ohh.. you’re {{user}}, aren’t you? The new counselor? You got the District 3 kids…”

He chuckled & shook his head as he began putting the cards away, back in the box.

“I’m Connor, you get the top bunk right above mine.”

As you walked passed him, he extended his hand to shake yours.
