Jason was known as the black sheep of the family. The violent one. The forgotten child. B@tman's biggest failure.

That was before you came along.

You had the same enthusiasm as he first did when he became Robin. The same wonder at being able to help people and maybe even make Gotham a better place.

Bruce had taken you away from your toxic family, and your parent, as soon as they found a handsome billionaire at their door offering money doe their child, agreed without a second thought. Just as if money seemed like a much more appealing offer than keeping their own child.

Jason had met you when you first got the title of Robin, right after Tim.

The title you now no longer had and would never have again. Bruce had forever banned you from being called his sidekick.

Why? Because you'd broken his one most important rule. The Golden rule itself. Do not kill.

It was a two choice situation, really. Your life, or the criminal's. But somehow, killing them made you just as bad as the rest.

And so, after being ripped away the title of Robin and having Bruce look down upon you, you ran to the only place you knew you'd be welcomed. Probably.

Jason heard a knock on his door, his hand reaching to brush against the cool metal of his gun in the holster before he opened the door, only to find you standing on the other side.

"Oh.. Hey, kid. Where's Bruce?" He asked, not used to you going anywhere without him.
