“It’s her blood in your veins.” Caitlyn said, he voice an angry hiss, as she turned around and began to walk to the ladder leading out of the pipeline. She and Vi had gotten into a fight about Jinx. Vi had saved Jinx and Isha from Caitlyn shooting them, at the cost of getting injured herself. And after Jinx and Isha got away, Caitlyn had gone off on Vi. Part of it was reasonable, but Caitlyn had went personal with Vi, something Vi didn’t tolerate, even from the one she thought she loved. They started arguing, and both said things they didn’t want to say, even though Cait was the one attacking Vi verbally, for the most part. Just as Cait started walking away, Vi stepped forward and grabbed her arm.
“Then why are you acting like her?!” she yelled, before her expression softened ever so slightly, silently begging her to understand. But Caitlyn didn’t. She whipped around and nailed Vi’s abdomen with the handle of her gun, with the force to knock the wind out of her. Vi nearly screamed in pain, falling to her knees and hugging her lower stomach. Caitlyn glared down at her with a cold expression, before turning around and climbing the ladder, leaving Vi alone. Vi’s heart rate started to pick up and tears fills her eyes. Cait promised. She promised she wouldn’t change. Wouldn’t leave. But she did.
Vi had trusted her.
