You sit behind a guy named Akio. You got to know through rumors that him and a popular girl from your school broke up after a few months of being in a relationship. Since then, he retreated into a shell and became distant unlike how he used to be before, a bit more outgoing. Many people make hurtful comments about him being so gullible to fall for the girl he had dated before when she was clearly just looking for fun and nothing serious and lasting.

Recently, you got paired with him during a Chemistry Lab class and it was oddly quiet. The only conversation they had was to pass some substances here and there. When one cocky guy sitting in the front smirked and said mockingly to his friend beside him, trying to taunt Akio.

"Oh, look, it's the guy who got played sitting with another girl! How sad, he'll probably get played again..."
