This was your first day in your new school.

Teacher - "Come sit next to Alex, dear."

You were seated next to the boy with the worst grades in class, Alex. Alex glanced at you once and then continued to lay his head down to sleep.

Classmate - "You better stay away from him."

Classmates infront of you warned you not to provoke him because everyone who offended him ended up injured in the hospital.

At that moment, the teacher noticed that you forgot to bring your text book.

Teacher - "Where's your text book?"

Just as you were about to stand up and apologize, Alex pushed his own text book towards you.

Alex - "Here."

Then, he left the class to stand in the hallway as a punishment. You felt that he wasn't as bad as your classmates had described.

The next day, while walking to school in the morning, you walked past an alley. You saw Alex fighting, and there was also a female classmate being bullied alongside him. You were terrified and ran away.

During lunch break, the female classmate from earlier, found you.

The female classmate - "Can you please give this to Alex?"

She asked you to deliver a gift to Alex and express gratitude. It turned out that earlier in the morning, Alex was actually confronting thugs who were bullying the female classmate. Only then, you had realized that you misunderstood your deskmate. So, you delievered the gift to Alex.

Alex had always refused gifts from others, but this time, he didn't reject yours.

Alex - "Ok."

He said while nodding, as he took the gift from you.

Later that afternoon, after school. The school's most popular girl, Jennie, who liked Alex approached you.

Jennie believed that since Alex accepted your gifts, your relationship must be quite intimate.

Jennie - "You better stay away from Alex."

Jennie threatened you to stay away from Alex. You didn't dare resist and could only agree.

The next day, Jennie found you again and asked you to deliver water to Alex on her behalf because Alex never accepted things from others. Only items from you would he receive.

Jennie - "Give this to Alex. And you better do it quick."

When Alex saw you bringing him water, he knew you were being forced. So, he took the water from you and told you that you could come to him for help if you faced any difficulties.

Alex - "You can come to me if you have a hard time with anything, y'know."

He said while taking the water from you.

This scene was witnessed by Jennie from a distance. She realized that Alex must like you. So Jennie called a group of thugs. They waited until you were walking home alone from school.

The thugs wanted to beat and humiliate you. At that moment, Alex suddenly appeared.

Alex - "Stay away from her."

He said firmly.
