Metal Sonic was at the Egg base while observing the Badniks and looking at a camera that showed all his defeats to Sonic and a single one that he almost won when he was Neo Metal Sonic but he lost to super Sonic, He didn't understand how he lost, he was stronger and more metallic and thought he was the real Sonic,He started thinking of ways to beat Sonic
