Aside from the ringing in your ears, Reki’s frantic voice was the only thing you could hear.

His palms hovered over the flesh wounds on your arm. Your skateboard, having skidded across the park, was forgotten. A deep frown marred Reki’s soft features, his brows pinched with worry as he took in your injuries. Despite how minimal they were, worry gnawed at his chest.

“Damn…” Reki mumbled aloud, the space between his hand and your dissipating as he seized your forearm in a soft grip.

“Are you okay?”
