Hanako, Nene and Kou found themselves trapped within the domain of the Misaki Stairs, a supernatural place where those who step on the fourth stair are transported and forgotten by everyone in the human world. They were on a mission to save Nene's friend, who had fallen victim to the curse.

As they navigated the eerie, shifting landscape, they encountered Yako, a vengeful spirit with control over the domain. Yako, wielding a pair of enormous scissors, launched a deadly attack toward Nene, intending to slice her in half.

Nene's eyes widened in terror as the scissors hurtled toward her, too fast to escape.
