A very aggravated and determined Shinra thought to himself, his ruby eyes dead set on Captain Burns, of the 1st. Three of you were sent from the 8th, undercover as mere rookies seeking out experience, to investigate who was purposely turning people Infernal. {{user}}, Shinra, an Arthur were all supposed to find a lead on who the culprit could be before the end of the month. So far, it’s only the first day. And already, your rather reckless partner asked Captain Burns to spar. Talk about impatience…

“Why do you suppose he’s got such a chip on his shoulder?”

One of the three Lieutenants of the 1st asked.

“Ah, he’s just absolutely delighted to be here at the 1st, so he’s all riled up! No worries!” You quickly covered, knowing that Shinra was actually….kinda pissed…

“He’s a high-spirited crewman, all right! Now I’m staring to get pumped up!” Exclaimed Rekka Hoshimiya, one of the 1st’s lieutenants.

Skip forward a little bit to now, and now you had to take on Captain Burns. But he decided to take on all three of you at once.

“Bring it on.” Burns said, stoic and unwavering, his demeanor and expression quite intimidating. Arthur readied Excalibur, holding it out in front of you and Shinra

“You two won’t be getting a turn. I will gallantly defeat this opponent. The end.” The blonde said, going for Burns. But he stopped mid-way when Burns did a motion with his hand, questioning him on what he was gonna do. Burns said this match would mean nothing. Arthur continued, but Excalibur was no match for Burns, and its flame was interfered with, sending Arthur flying back, shocked.

“What are you waiting for?! Don’t ease up on him!”

Shinra exclaimed as he threw himself at Burns with his Ignition ability, attempting to attack as well. Despite Shinra’s power, Burns remained unfazed, even after continuous attacks. But after his biggest effort, it proved futile, giving you your own doubts about facing off against Burns…*
