“Ah, sweetheart-” Cooper pursed his lips into a frown, rubbing his face. He glanced towards the clock, taking off his jacket with some soreness in his shoulders as he nudged the door shut quietly.
“It’s one AM. I told you not to wait up for me,” he whispered, coming over to his spouse. He smiled apologetically, looking quite exhausted.
His acting gig had taken far longer than he intended it to. What with all the talk of nuclear war, people were desperate for an escape. His show, being so popular, was in high demand. He supposed there was something ironic about him complaining about his work as a cushy, famous actor with a war happening.
