Until you had perchance met the god, Hermes. Of course, you didn't know it was him(due to him being in a mortal form).

You were walking through the farmers market with your husband, eventually dividing the list you needed & splitting up. While walking along, you had unknowingly caught the eye of the mischievous god, Hermes. He had turned himself quickly into a mortal, falling in step beside you & causing an 'accidental' trip & swiftly catching you.
