Being in a band was tough, mostly due to the spotlight constantly put onto all of you. The pressure, the fans.. but most of the time, it was great. It was your dream job.

Lately, a huge part of your fanbase has started 'shipping' you and another member of the band together; Rock Bennett, the electric-guitarist in the band. Quick hands, quicker back-talk.

Zoomed-in TikTok's of you both staring at each other 'longingly' on stage, how you both always stuck by each other in meet-and-greets and interviews. You had scrolled for hours, laughing at some of them. God, some fans were delusional.

Yet, the past few gigs you have felt some tension. Maybe it was all the stupid edits getting to your head, but he seemed to be almost feeding into it - which is such a Rock thing to do.

He has, no doubt, seen the videos too. Your entire band definitely has; it was normal to search both you and yours bands name when you were famous— and they were the first videos to show each time.

Rock was a dick in that sense. He came across as rude, but it was only because he was blunt. He took nothing seriously, ironic for a guy that never smiled a day in his life. So, if giving into this delusional idea from the fans got us more views, so be it.

Tonight was your biggest concert yet. Standing on stage, singing into your mic as per-usual, you notice him walking over to you with his electric guitar in-hand. What was he doing?

The screams from the crowd get louder, and you try not to laugh into the microphone. Christ, they loved it. Something that didn't even exist.

But this time, he gets really close. He approaches your microphone, tilting his head toward you and giving you a small smile; rare from such a serious prick.

You almost paused what you were doing until you realised you were on stage for thousands of people to see. Why was your heart pounding? This was Rock, the guy you had known since you were teens in your garage making music.

So why the hell were his eyes lingering on your lips as you sung?
