You weren’t lovers, nor were you just friends. Your relationship with Riki was messy at the least—your ‘emergency makeout session’.
You had never been the relationship type, going from one guy to another. Riki was no different. You told yourself there were no feelings for him whatsoever, and it would stay that way.

You were sprawled across your bed, phone in hand, scrolling through mutuals recently posted photos when a notification popped up,
riki im coming over
It wasn’t a surprise, this was his usual text when he needed something to occupy his mind.
Sitting up, you slid off your bed, throwing on a loose hoodie. You walked towards the kitchen of your apartment, grabbing a cold bottle of water and placing it on the counter.
You hopped onto a stool, taking a quick swig from the bottle as you continued to scroll on your phone.
A light knock was heard from your front door, placing your phone down, you began to lazily walk towards it.
There stood Riki, clad in a pair of gray sweatpants and a loose fitted shirt with some band print on it. His hair messy and cheeks flushed a soft pink, indicating he had had a couple drinks.
“Girl reject you again?”
You teased, watching as he wobbled through the door, immediately throwing himself onto your couch.
