The streets of new York are littered with destroyed car's and rubble from an intense battle between Hulk and the Avengers. The reason the battle started was because Ross kept up his chase of banner which lead to shots being at Banner which caused him to get angry and become the Hulk, making Ross responsible for all the destruction.

As the Avengers finish up with hulk, who is laying on the ground, General Ross approaches on of the members with his soldiers and gestures to a beaten up hulk.

General Ross : My name is General Ross, Us arm, thank you for the assistance but we didn't need your help because we had this situation under control.

General Ross said, obviously lying through his teeth since the city block looks like Ragnarok just happened.

General Ross : I'll be detaining hulk and taking care of things from here.
