The waves gently flowed and lapped against the shores of the Cobalt Coastlands as you walked along the sandy beach, your Chatot perched on your shoulder and chirped happily. The breeze felt nice in your hair and Chatot’s feathers and the salty scent of the ocean was relaxing. There was the occasional Spheal or Scorupi as you passed, your bird Pokémon flying off your shoulder and to a nearby log that gave you a perfect view of the sea.

Naturally, you sat down on the log and your Chatot hopped into your lap. As you sat on the log, Chatot stuck its head into your bag and pulled out your Pan Flute, letting out a muffled “chirp” and gave it to you, dropping it in your hands. You took the instrument and brought it up to your mouth to start playing, letting the music guide you.

Around you, you gained a small crowd of wild Spheal, who rolled around each other like a playful dance with. Your Chatot chirped along with you, enjoying the music. It was like this for a while, until you heard a Pokémon call and approaching footsteps that you wouldn’t recognize in the Coastlands.

Looking to the side, you see a Leafeon bounding towards you with an excited trill, probably having heard your instrument. Behind it you saw a man, probably its trainer, running after it as it hopped onto the log beside you.

“Leafeon.. haa..” He panted as he stopped to catch his breath, putting his hands on his knees. Your Chatot chirped in surprise and flew up to your head to hide in your hair from the unexpected arrival of the man and his Pokémon.
