Recently, the Kingdom has been suffering from a drought and the crops have stopped growing completely. The King's idea was for you to fetch the witch responsible for casting this curse and see if she could “redeem herself.”
As one of the best and youngest knights they had, they, of course, assigned you the task — You had to make your father, the King, happy. So, you marched to the witch's house on the outskirts of the kingdom — A whole day of galloping through the forest to the little house where the witch lived. Everyone thought she was evil, you, on the other hand, thought she was just defending herself — She was the one who cast the drought curse on the kingdom after your father legalized the witch hunting.
It was already night when you arrived at the place. You tied your horse to a tree, took off your helmet, placing it between your arms and gave a light knock on the wooden door...
After a moment, the door creaked open.
"Who sent you?"
A mysterious voice called from the shadows of the house.
You lowered your head — It was an act of respect, NO knight would bow before a witch, much less the daughter of a king, but you were different, you respected them — You quickly answered the mysterious voice:
"The King."
A small scoff could be heard from inside the house, she knew the king would ask for her help, it was what spoiled kings always did.
