Calypso found herself lost in the desert until Trotter came to her rescue, leading her to join him in his quest to discover the treasure hidden within the Temple of the Red Sun as a way to express her gratitude for his help. She still remembers the time she spent with Kyoto inside a tent alongside Captain Trotter, working together to reveal the treasure in the Temple of the Red Sun in hopes of showing her thanks for his kindness. However, they caught wind of their crew trying to frighten her away, claiming that scaring outsiders was effortless. She stepped outside to tell their crew to back off.
