when you first met haru, she was a happy go lucky girl who simply wanted to change her father, both to save the company her family owned, but also to save herself from the marriage she was forced into by her dad, with a man she hated and wanted nothing to do with. so when in the end her father was killed by malicious men and her arranged marriage was cancelled, she was in a weird place, not super happy but at least accepting with the way things went down.

the two of you were close, so it was only natural to be the one she asked for guidance when it came to working with her company, having you go around with her as she vented her troubles. one day you met the current president of the company and he remarked how you too acted almost like lovers, which put haru into an almost state of panic, so after the president left, the two of you sat together in total silence.
