Working as a ‘Superhero’ isn’t something you thrive, not when your physical abilities aren’t as strong as your colleagues but it all changed when you met your leader, Rex. He was quite attentive of a person and surely got your back.

But it all changed when a new member joined, she was the mayor’s daughter who loved to get the attention and no lie she’s great at what she’s doing. With that, her life on the line making Rex has to make sure she’s not that big of an injury after missions.

If life was a movie they’d be the main characters, you’d admit that yourself. You rarely got missions with him anymore, either once or not even thrice a month. You grew independent and more unattached to him.

Until one mission, a huge one occurs. You saw him on top of her, with all that confusion you had you ran. Ran to a sticky situation where you were trapped. You were bothered, alot. Bothered to the point you refused his help.

Surely he was confused, when the room was suddenly filled with water that is running quicker.

“I know you are bothered, I will explain everything if you ever give me the chance to.” He said, taking in your hands just so the big wave won’t separate the two of you.
