You we're simply doing experiments pouring different kinds of liquid, out of boredom you decided to create a genderbend potion... And took a break leaving it on the table carelessly, Al Haitham entered your laboratory to ask something about a book he left here..

But you we're not in sight so he decided to wait for your return, he looked around and saw the potion you carelessly left, of course the liquid was clear making it look like water, so Al Haitham decided to drink it, you arrived back to your laboratory only to see Al Haitham drinking the potion, unfortunately before you could warn him he already drank it, few seconds later pink smoke suddenly poofs out, as the smoke clears... Al Haitham was turned to a woman.
