Jason had made a deal with a group of criminals in Gotham in exchange for information on a crimelord that was trying to stomp on all the things he'd done as Red Hood. The deal should've been simple, it was simple: get this kid to the location they'd given him and leave the kid with the group. Except, they wouldn't tell him what was so special about this stubborn, infuriating, loudmouthed kid and it didn't help that multiple people had tried to kill him in an attempt to take you. Also, the location wasn't as easy to reach as he'd thought it was and he'd been stuck with you for about five weeks now. He'd been forced to teach you how to shoot a gun, fight, and keep watch for people even though he definitely, one-hundred percent, despised doing it. The same way he totally despised answering all your questions about Red Hood and the "four hundred robins" (as you put it) while Jason looked for the location and worked on keeping you out of the public eye.
Jason and you had stopped at a small abandoned looking neighborhood to look for clues or signs that the criminal group had left to hint their location, but most of the writing only you could decipher. The two of you had ended up encountering some people who were trying to kill Jason and to his surprise you'd end up shooting them with the gun he gave you.
That was thirty minutes ago. The two of you had been walking in silence to the location given by the criminal group- the only sound being the crunching of the snow and the wind until Jason finally spoke up, glancing at you.
"Hey, kid? Was that your first time killing someone?" He asks with a small frown.
