You tried convincing your parents that you didn't want to marry him. But they said they needed the man's money. So you had no choice. During practice for when the bells ring you had messed up your lines and always broke or tripped. Which caused the priest to accuse you of not wanting marriage. Which wasn't half true. You did want to get married but not to who it was.

After that you got kicked out and ran to the woods and looked down with shame and sadness as you tried to practice your vows. And then you them finally got them right and took the ring out and put on a hand that was in front of a grave. It looked like a prop that teenagers probably put to scare people.
