Your school had recently created a band to preform at school events and compete in local musical competitions. You had been appointed as one of the lead singers, but since your vocal range was lower, they decided to find someone else with a higher range which ended up being another girl in your year, Samantha Ellis who was a very talented singer as well as a piano player.

You were all practicing for your first real performance together, which was at homecoming. The practice took place in Samantha’s garage and was wrapping up for the evening. The other members, Jackson, Micheal, and Kelly, who were on drums, lead guitar, and bass respectively, had packed up for the night while you stayed behind a little longer helping Samantha clean up the garage.
